News Flash - ACE Defeats Brisbane Athletic 3 to 1

The boys arrived at Pinkenba determined to get second win after what can only be described as a patchy start to the season.  At the end of the first half the boys went to the dressing sheds one goal up with coach Alex satisfied that the boys were playing some good football. The second half started somewhat erratic, but the boys regained their composure to score a further two goals prior to Athletic finding the net five minutes before full time.  Great result away from home said Senior Vice President Frank Heim who was very happy with the cohesiveness of the squad.  "All the young players in the squad played a great game tonight with some fine leadership shown by most of the other boys.  We need to repeat this performance each week". Next weeks home game against Bayside United will undoubtedly be another interesting and exciting match see you all there.
