Senior Vice President Frank Heim is excited to name this year’s Club Captain and Leadership Team. “Before one can name a new Club Captain, I must acknowledge and Thank Stephen Bowles his predecessor for the wonderful job he has done over the past two years. As time move on and the club grows not only in the juniors but also in the senior ranks we find that changes must also occur in the structure. This year not only do I have the pleasure of announcing a Club Captain but also a Leadership gro up which will liaise with all 
teams and players throughout the club”
“On Behalf of the ACE Management committee I am happy to announce that Glen Andrews has been selected as Club Captain for the season 2011. Glen Played junior football at Albany Creek for a number of years had a brief stint in the Premier league before returning to ACE where he has played in our Premier Divisional Men’s team for the past number of years. Glen along with other members of the leadership group all devote time to club driven undertakings and the development of juniors through either Kindy soccer, Coaching or the Soccer school.
I wish to congratulate and welcome all the selected candidates into their positions and hope that all players and members will support them with their rolls at the club”.
Club President Claude Sorbello said; "I would like to congratulate the Club Captain and the Leadership team on their selection. The decision this year was very difficult given the amount of quality players we have at ACE. I have met with the Leadership group on two separate occasions and I am pleased with the mature manner in which they have approached their roles. Within the group we have the right balance of youth and maturity and I look forward to seeing how this group will leave their imprint on the club in 2011. I encourage them to make a difference during this season and wish them well".

The role of the Leadership Team is to:
1. identify opportunities that will improve the club
2. develop the communication across the player community in the club
3. develop the culture and spirit within the club
4. advise the Management Committee on matters relating to senior players
5. advise the Disciplinary Committee as necessary
6. identify opportunities for sponsorship and fundraising
