Do you love the carnival atmosphere?
We need Assistant Carnival Coordinators for each age group from U6 to U11 – To assist the Carnival Coordinator to plan, organise and run ACE carnivals by assisting with carnivals for children of your specific age group. This position requires attendance at two meetings and to assist on Carnival Days.
Would you like to share your passion for the game?
Communications Officers are required for each age group from U6 to U11. This role ensures each player/family is informed about activities and initiatives occurring around the club. You will help drive the club culture within your specific age group. Communication officers share the passion for making football fun for the children. This position requires approximately 2 hours per week using home email.
Do you like to keep your finger on ACE’s pulse?
Team Information Coordinator – This person will receive match reports from team manager’s and collect any newsworthy items to be included in the Club’s Newsletter, Facebook and website. The role requires 2 hours per week using home email.
Are you addicted to social media?
Facebook Administrator – Launched in 2011 the ACE Facebook page is used by players and teams to communicate match results, training and general information about the club. This role will administer the Facebook page and post official communication from the club. In 2012 we want to encourage all managers to post score updates directly from games into Facebook. This position will require 1 to 2 hours per week using home email.
Would you like to build your journalistic skills?
Media Relations Officer - This position will produce press releases and liaise with the press on all matters associated with the club. As the club grows, it is difficult to ensure all good stories about team and individual performances such as representative selections are communicated to the media efficiently. The role requires 1 to 2 hours per week maximum using your home email.
Do you see yourself as a book editor?
Senior Match Day Booklet Editor – This role gathers information, gains sponsorship and produces the Senior Match Day Booklet every 2 weeks for the 13 home matches scheduled for 2012. A suitable person would be interested in senior football and have some football background. You would source articles from Senior Coaches, Managers and Players and produce the Match Day Booklet for home games. The role requires 2 hours per week maximum using home email.
Calling all party animals!
Junior Presentation Sub-Committee - Five people are required to be part of the sub-committee responsible for the planning, organising and running the junior presentation day at the end of season. Participant involvement starts in August under the guidance of the Junior Presentation Coordinator. You will usually attend two meetings and the junior presentation day, of course!.
