Message From The President

The tremendous history of our club has enriched us to understand the benefit of a football club that is passionate about the sport which is played in a spirit of comradeship, fun and enthusiasm. Our club is proud of the community spirit it encapsulates and the thousands of long standing relationships and friendships that have been established via the club. We strive to provide the best possible facilities and environment for development for our players. My fellow executive and management committee members are proud members of the club with a long history and involvement in the running of the club.

In 2009, ACE was selected as one of 6 Brisbane Clubs that will compete in the Brisbane Rebel Sports Junior Premier League commencing in 2010.  ACE was selected from a long list of clubs who submitted and application to Football Queensland and Football Brisbane. Selection of clubs was based on the clubs development program, quality of facilities, commitment to development, experience and qualification of coaching staff, location and quality of management and administration. Our club's selection recognises the huge effort made since 2006 to invest more than two million dollars in the clubs fields, infrastructure and coaching structure. Our selection as RSJPL club also recognises the technical development structure and the commitment ACE makes to player development.  This commitment is evident by the quality and quantity of experienced licenses coaches that ACE provides to ensure that all players have the opportunity to develop their skills to their fullest ability.
Through 2010, 2011 and 2012, ACE will bring online four additional full size fields and 6 junior fields, providing a total of 7 full size football fields and 6 junior fields and a potential to grow to 1500 players by 2015. This investment will be made through the dedication and commitment of our volunteer committee with support from our local, state and federal Government.

Everyone involved in the management of the club and our coaching staffs are fully committed to developing quality football players. This is evident by the numerous development initiatives that occur at the club from our Football School, Development clinics, goalkeeper academies, development squads and off-season competition.
I encourage business support for the club with confidence as our member community is appreciative of the role and value of our sponsors. The continued support of our existing major sponsors like WOW, PURESPORT, LJ Hooker and Velocity Finance is testament that our members provide value to them.

ACE is a not for profit organisation run entirely by volunteers for benefit of all players and members. Volunteers at ACE provide more than $800,000 worth of labour each year which ensures that membership fees remain at low levels. ACE does not receive any funding from Government or any other sporting bodies, hence the importance of volunteers is mandatory and paramount to the future of our club.
I’m an advocate to the fact that great clubs are made up of great people which are prepared to become involved in their children’s sport and make a difference. For this reason, all members of the club are encouraged to participate in the club at any level that is convenient to them. A few volunteered hours of time, can and will make a difference to your club. Through a focused collective effort, we are able to expedite growth, expansion and the availability of quality facilities which benefits all of us as members and players.

ACE always welcomes new players, coaches, sponsors, managers, administrators and anyone else who is passionate about football and being part of a great club.
