Kindy Coaches
ACE Kindy Soccer Coaches all share a passion for young children and a belief that a child's first introduction to sport and fitness must be enjoyable and fun so that they continue to be involved for life. Please take a minute to meet our coaches below.
Coaching Coordinator Salvatore Sottile is the
club'sTechnical Director and Senior Coach. His experience
in football is extensive including more than 15 years as a full time
professional football player in Italy and being selected for three
tours of the U20 Italian National Squad. Salvo is always present
for each session of the Kindy Soccer Program working alongside
Coaches and Assistant Coaches.
Anthony has played football for more than 20 years
including two years for a European club and a few years in the
Queensland State League. Anthony has a junior and youth
coaching license and enjoys w orking with kindy kids.
Anthony continues to be one of our favorite coaches very
much in demand with the little ones.
Glen was awarded the player of the year in 2010 and 2011
which is recognition of Glen's popularity with his fellow players
and kindy kids. In his fourth year as coach in the Kindy Program.
Glen brings professional expertise as a Premier League player
together with great leadership skills.
Kevin started playing football in South Africa before joining
ACE four years ago. As a senior player Kevi is respected as
one of the true gentlemen of the game. Kevin has a Junior
and Youth Coaching license and has been coaching junior and
kindy football for three years. Kevin's son and daughter both
graduated through the ACE Kindy Soccer program
over the past four years. 
Phil is an extremely experienced and well qualified coaches
at the club having attained a "C" class license. Phil has been
a coach at ACE for four years and this year was introduced into
the Kindy Program due to the large number of players.
In addition to coaching Kindy Kids, Phil is our Development
Coach responsiblefor the development of young 6 to 13
years olds at the club.
Gerard has played football since the age of 5 originally from
Cairns before moving to Brisbane and playing in the Premier
League. In addition to coaching the kindy program, Gerard is the
club's junior goal keeper coach. He has a youth coaching license
and has recently become a father of a future kindy player.
Kathleen has been coaching in the Kindy Program for the past 2
years and is a real favorite amongst the kids. Kathleen is the goal
keeper of the club's Division 1 Women's team. Kathleen and
Assistant coach Ashley work as a team and together they have as
much fun as the kids. Kathleen is wonderful with the kids in
particular first timers who quickly settle in and overcome those
initial fears.
Moses is one our most experienced Assistant Coaches who has
beeninvolved in the program since it commenced at ACE. Moses
has a passion for kids which is second to none. Moses was
selected for the Queensland Representative Program at the age
of 14 and 15 and is presently a member of the club's Premier
Youth team and a member of the Youth Academy. Moses is a
delight to watch in the Kindy Program as the kids are mesmerized
by his passion, humor and personality.
Cristian has been an Assistant Coach in the kindy program since
it was first established. Cristian enjoys working with children that
love to have fun. Cristian was selected in the Brisbane Football
Excellence program at 11 and the representative program for U12,
U13 and U15. He is now part of the club's Premier Youth team and
a member of the Youth Academy.
Hanna returns as Assistant Coach for the second year at ACE
andbrings a beautiful smile and a simply fabulous personality.
Anna has played with ACE for many years and is currently one of
the stars of the club's division 1 women. Anna loves working with
kindy kids and takes every opportunity to dive in with the program
as evident in the photograph.
Christian Smith has also been an Assistant Coach with the
KindySoccer Program from the very beginning. Christian was
selected into the U14 Representative squad and has traveled
overseas on several occasions with youth squads competing in
both indoor and outdoor soccer Internationally. Christian is
very popular with the young starts of the kindy program.
Ashley is in her second year as Kindy Assistant Coach at ACE.
Her popularity with the kids is easily identified by her charismatic
smile and passion for young children. Ashley plays senior soccer
at in the ACE senior team and is a long term junior player
at the ACE. She brings a great sense of humour to the
progam and the kids love the fun way in which she coaches.
Jarrod, or "Peanut" as he is more commonly known by his friends started as an assistant Coach and then promoted to
Coach in the Kindy Program. Jarrod is currently studying at
University and a regular starter in the club's Divison 1 squad.
Jarrod has a fantastic personality, great smile his passion
for whatever he does transcribes onto others.
Brad is in his first year as Assistant Coach but his passion for little ACE kids is more than evident. The kids love his English accent and big happy smile. Brad comes from a line of coaches in his family with his Dad being a Senior Coach at the club also.
