ACE THROUGH TO SEMI-FINAL OF CANALE CUP AND WOMEN'S CUP
A huge crowd of ACE supporters descended on Brendale firstly for the QAS Women's game against the ACE U15 RSJPL which was played in good spirit

. The QAS girls were down a couple of their Matilda Players still getting over some injuries in the Asian Cup and the game was played in good spirit with some excellent display of end to end football. The ACE U15 RSJPL were focused on the last of a three match series which had previously been drawn at one game each with each side scoring 5 goals each. An early penalty to QAS started the goal count which inspired the ACE boys to score 4 times and win the series. Special thanks to Jeff and the QAS girls for a great game of football.
The Toowomba game was difficult for the Toowoomba boys who spent 2.5 hours in traffic after a day's work before fronting a very motivated and committeed ACE side. The game had plenty of goals finishing ACE 8, Toowomba Nil, with Torres scoring his eight Goal on his last match with ACE before going to the US next week on a Football Scholarship. View highlights of the game, coaches report and coaches interviews
Click Here. ACE is now through to the Semi-Final of the Canale Cup meeting Premier League table leaders Rochedale. Rochedale defeated North Pine 4 to 3 to gain their place in the Semi.
Meanwhile ACE division 2 Girls have quietly continued their winning spree in the Women's Cup to secure a place in the Semi-Final against the Brighton Bulldogs on Wednesday the 28th of July. The game will be played at Wolter Park at 7.00 p.m. and promises to be exciting. If successfull the girls will play in the Cup Final for the first time in the history of the club. Make sure you diary this date and bring the family.
CONGRATULATIONS BRADY SMITH
Also known as "Torres" at the club, Brady has come through the junior ranks to play senior Football at ACE. He was recently scouted and offered a Soccer Scholarship at Genesee College in the United States. Torres played his final game for ACE against Toowomba and scored the 8th goal of the game. Eight of course is a very luck number under Chinese Culture, therefore, Torres leaves ACE on a good luck streak as he ventures to the United States. All of us at the club wish him well and we look forward to hearing good things about his development. Torres will be returning to ACE three months of the year during the US off-season and will be a guest coach with the Juniors. Good Luck Torres all of us at ACE wish you well.
